Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals who live full- or part-time on Kauai.  Take pleasure in becoming one of our friendly and informative tour guides.

Each new volunteer completes seven three-hour mandatory training sessions, and then joins the more experienced volunteer guides as they conduct regular tours of the gardens. Following this introductory period, new volunteers take their own place as a regular tour guide. We ask for a commitment of 6 hours per month, but are always grateful for any extra hours our volunteers give to Na ‘Āina Kai.

Volunteering at Na ‘Āina Kai reaps many benefits, including:

• The opportunity to meet new people with similar interests

• Participation in social events planned especially for our volunteers

• Partaking of continuing education opportunities related to the garden

• Special visiting privileges and discounts on merchandise available in our gift shop.

"Garden Delights" Membership Program
We invite you to make a difference in keeping our vision alive by subscribing to our annual "Garden Delights" Membership Program. There are seven levels of membership, all of which offer exciting premiums and benefits, including free tours and discounts in our Orchid House Gift Shop. Several levels also entitle members to use of the Gardens for private special events.

Your financial support helps ensure that Na ‘Āina Kai continues to flourish as a botanical showplace and open-air arts and culture gallery. We are a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit Foundation, so your donations are tax-deductible.
